What is a board and train, and how long does it take?
Your dog lives with a Pro Trainer for 2 or 3 weeks and trains every day, with video report cards sent to you daily. When the program ends you get a 2–3 hour one-on-one handoff so you can keep the results at home. The 2-week basic program is $2,900; the 3-week advanced program is $4,350.
Do you train aggressive or reactive dogs in Sarasota?
Yes. Behavior Modification Lessons ($1,100, eight private sessions) are built for aggression, anxiety and reactivity triggers, using desensitization work alongside obedience. The first conversation is a free phone consultation so we can hear what your dog is doing before recommending anything.
Where do the training lessons take place?
Private lessons are conducted at public parks around Sarasota and Bradenton, because dogs need to learn around real distractions, not in a quiet room. Board & train dogs stay with their trainer for the length of the program.
At what age can my puppy start?
Puppies under 5 months can start the AKC Star Puppy program ($475: one consultation plus six half-hour sessions), and puppies from 12 weeks can join the Puppy Board & Train. Obedience lessons with the e-collar begin at 6 months.
